Antoine is the co-founder of FrahanBlondé. He conducts a broad range of consulting assignments and professional development programs in the area of strategy, organization and change management across organisations and sectors, but mostly for professional service firms (law firms, consulting firms, private banks, etc.) and corporate professional departments (legal and compliance departments, regulatory affairs, etc.).
He has conducted assignments all over Europe (from Spain to Norway, and from the UK to Moscow), in the US and in China and Hong Kong. He has worked with professionals from more than 30 nationalities.
Antoine speaks regularly for audiences of lawyers and executives. Recently, he spoke at the International Bar Association, the Institut des juristes d’entreprise (Brussels), the Association Française des Juristes d’Entreprise (Paris), the Solvay Business School (Brussels), the Brussels bar association, Edhec Business School (Lille), KULeuven Law School, etc. He has taught corporate governance for several years in the special program for Board members at the Solvay Business School. He is associated with various educational and academic programs on leadership.
He has published dozens of articles on issues related to organization, strategy and management for legal and compliance professionals, and has contributed to several books on the management side of law.
Before founding FrahanBlondé, Antoine was International Legal Counsel for Tractebel (now Engie) and worked on international project development and financing in London, in Europe, in Asia and in the Middle East. Previously, he was with the law firm of De Bandt, van Hecke & Lagae (now Linklaters) and with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Brussels. He is a member and Past Chairman of the Columbia Club of Belgium.
Antoine received his law degree magna cum laude from Université Libre de Bruxelles, where he was also a teaching assistant in legal methodology, and an LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School in New York (where he was a fellow of the BAEF Foundation). He also completed the entrepreneurship program at the Solvay Business School. Antoine also received a bachelor’s degree in medicals sciences cum laude from Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix (Namur) and is a certified master practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Antoine is also a self-taught painter and cartoonist, and is developing a strong practice as visual facilitator. He has exhibited his paintings in professional galleries, and is a sought-after speaker combining speaking and drawing.
